I moved to New York City in 2014, after graduating with my Master’s of Education in Special Education from University of Maryland. Upon my move, I entered the workforce as an IT professional, and now work as a TechOps Support Engineer.
I am passionate about photography, disability advocacy (especially in the fields of brain injury, vascular malformation, and community (re)habilitation), and enjoying the small things in life. I am also a member of the New York Road Runners.
I am also a Japanese and English bilingual, and work as a Bilingual Academic Tutor for Elementary and Middle School students in NYC, with special concentration in ESL, Gifted and Talented, and Special Needs. I also teach English Conversational Skills on by-request basis.
